The Association was formed on the 12th March 1980.  Initially named the "Langham & Barleythorpe Gardens & Allotments Association" it undertook to manage the Langham allotments on behalf of the Parish Council and offered membership to any gardener in the parish.  Apply for an allotment - £12.00 per year, which includes membership to the Gardeners' Association Each year the Association offers its membership an opportunity to purchase seed potatoes, composts, fertilizers and chemical warfare products with delivery to the door during February/March. There are three social meetings per year taking place between October and March.  These are open free of charge to members and non members alike.  Our Social Secretary provides a variety of speakers, both local and national to present slides and provide demonstrations on a wide variety of topics. To become a member, with a subscription of just £2 per year please come to a meeting, ask a committee member or email the Chairman.
