Langham in Rutland
The Association was formed on the 12th March 1980.  Initially named the "Langham & Barleythorpe Gardens & Allotments Association" it undertook to manage the Langham allotments on behalf of the Parish Council and offered membership to any gardener in the parish.  Apply for an allotment - £16.00 per year, which includes membership to the Gardeners' Association. Sometimes Half allotments are available at £10 per year including membership. Each year the Association offers its membership an opportunity to purchase seed potatoes, composts, fertilizers and chemical warfare products with delivery to the door during March. There is an A.G.M held in February and a village show held in September. These are open to members and non members alike. Occasionally, we hold a talk or demonstration and social evening between October and February, these are open to members and non-members alike. To become a member, with a subscription of just £2 per year please come to a meeting, ask a committee member or email the Chairman.
