Open Land
Open land on the edge of the village has a large area for allotments, but also provides a playing field and a wildlife site. There is a small football field and play equipment for younger children, which are well used. The wildlife site, known as Langham Woodlands , has been developed by the villagers who have planted many shrubs and trees, mainly of native origin, and sown a wild-flower meadow. It is expected that as the plantings mature, this site will become a haven for wildlife and a quiet place for people to visit.
